International Conference on

Nice airport has daily flights to most major cities in Europe, as well as New York and Canada, and a number of destinations in North Africa and the Middle East. There are also many flights connecting Paris to Nice in case we did not find a good direct flight. Next we give the links to:
Most airlines use Terminal 1 (the older terminal) while Terminal 2 is used primarily by Air France (and partners) and Easyjet. To go to the city, we take the bus 98 (ticket 6 Euros, travel time 32 minutes, consider however 45 minutes for rush hours) up to the stop Nice Ville, close to the main train station. After that we can take the tramway as described in the Venue section below. As an alternative, we can also take city bus 21 (ticket 1.5 Euros to be bought on the bus) but it takes about 40 minutes to arrive in proximity of the train station and then there is a 10/15 minutes walk to arrive to the tramway. Both buses from the airport start from Terminal 1; there is a free shuttle from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1.
The conference will take place in Théâtre de Valrose in Château de Valrose, Nice, France.
The most common way to reach the venue is by the the tramway T1 from the train station or from Opéra Vieille Ville, direction Las Planas, until the stop Valrose Université.
To reach the tramway stop from the train station, we walk down the street on our left, until we reach the stop NICE-Gare Thiers.
After getting down to the stop Valrose Université, we walk along Avenue A. Borriglione, Avenue Doyen-Jean Lepine, Avenue Joseph Vallot and Avenue Valrose, as shown in the following interactive map.
