Social Events

In the period of the conference, the participants will be able to participate in some typical social events.

One of them is calçotada typical lunch which will be organized on April, 1st after an excursion through the surroundings of Tarragona. If you want to participate, please announce Carlos Cruz at carlos.cruz(AT)urv.cat.
The cost of the day is not included in the conference fees.

Another one is Easter week (Semana Santa), a remarkable, religious period in Tarragona, a time of fasting, penance and processions (as well as of 'processions' of people to the countryside in search of relax...).

During the conference, a guided visit to the old city will be held.
